Ria joined Hetreed Ross Architects in 2023. She has a passion for architecture as a tool to enhance people’s lives and has a keen interest in healthy, sustainable design, drawing on her international experience when approaching a project.
Ria completed her RIBA part 1 and part 2 at Nottingham University before working in Eton, Berkshire on high end residential projects. Her path then led her to Sydney, where she worked as an Associate for Sissons Architects. Here she worked on bespoke residential projects, as well as commercial renovations, masterplans and competitions.
Recently Ria had the unique opportunity to be involved in a project that brought the unbuilt projects of the renown Architect, Glenn Murcutt, to life through 3D modelling. This experience has greatly influenced her, especially his approach to sustainable architecture.
